At Sartoria Napoletana, made-to-measure is about far more than creating a garment to an individual set of measurements. It is about personal style, proportion and the pursuit of a timeless silhouette.
Drawing on more than a decade of sartorial experience, we bring together our distinctive aesthetic with the tradition and craftsmanship of Italian tailoring. Every piece in our Made to Measure collection is personally fitted and styled in our Istanbul stores before being crafted in Italy by specialist ateliers using traditional sartorial techniques.
The Fitting
The process begins with understanding our client’s lifestyle, personal style and individual requirements.
After selecting from our carefully curated collection of Italian and English fabrics, a series of try-on garments is used to establish the most appropriate base silhouette.
Posture, shoulder balance, jacket length, chest and waist, sleeve position, trouser rise and overall proportions are carefully considered, with individual adjustments recorded for each client.
The objective is not simply to create a garment that measures correctly, but to achieve a silhouette that feels natural, balanced and effortless.
Crafted in Italy
Once the fitting is complete, the client’s measurements, individual adjustments and every stylistic detail specified by Sartoria Napoletana are sent to our atelier in Italy.
Each commission is individually produced for its wearer using traditional Italian sartorial techniques.
From cloth and buttons to linings, pockets and lapels, every detail reflects a dialogue between the client’s preferences and the aesthetic principles of Sartoria Napoletana.
The Final Fitting
Once production in Italy is complete, the garment arrives in Istanbul, where it is carefully inspected before delivery.
The client is then invited for a final fitting. Where necessary, subtle finishing adjustments are carried out in Istanbul to perfect the balance and fit of the garment.
Our Made to Measure commissions are normally completed within approximately 6–8 weeks. As every garment is individually produced in Italy and delivered to Istanbul, lead times may occasionally vary.
